JAKOB SCHMIDT is a self-taught artist and designer, born in Berlin in 1995.
Growing up with Basketball and Hip-Hop he started doing Graffiti at age 11 and quickly became fascinated by typography.

2012/13 he spend 10 month living in Oklahoma, USA going to high school and realizing first paint jobs for the local community.

After coming back to Berlin, he did his A-levels with focus on art at Kurt Schwitters Oberschule, participating in first group exhibitions like 24/7 Oneliner Exhibition at Alte Münze.

In 2017 he decided to travel around the world and spent almost 1 1/2 years in Thailand, Indonesia and Australia, where he collected valuable working experiences painting hostels, restaurants, walls & canvases, which led him to work as a full time artist and designer.

Next to his studio works, Jakob loves to get creative designing logos and custom typography, which he then brings to life using traditional sign painting techniques.
